Recommended Temperature & Humidity Ranges
Temperature:
With green tree pythons, keeping the temperature stable without large swings from high to low is just as important as having the temperature within the correct range.
The roughly equatorial climate which green tree pythons live in in the wild results in an average temperature which stays very stable in the mid to upper 80's year round. Because of this, green tree pythons need a stable temperature in captivity and do not do well with large fluctuations in temperature over the course of the year, or even the day.
Although there is no need to maintain incubator like consistancy, a digital proportional thermostat is highly recommended for controlling the temperature of your green tree python enclosure.
Humidity:
While the temperature does not vary much in the natural range of the green tree python, the same can not be said about the humidity.
