Our Green Tree Python Breeding Projects

Current Breeding Projects:

As I have noted several other places throughout the site, I am currently in my final year of law school and am devoting (for obvious reasons) the majority of my time and resources to obtaining my J.D. degree and passing the bar exam. Because of this, there are currently no breeding projects underway. I am beginning to acquire animals and equipment for future projects, but do not expect to begin producing any baby green tree pythons until 2010 or 2011.

Planned Breeding Projects:

My current plans include various combinations of the following locality types (largely based on personal preference):

I would like to point out here that the "locality types" listed above are merely intended to be a generalization of the types of green tree pythons I plan to work with at this time. I am in agreement with some of the better known GTP breeders that the locality labels used with green tree pythons are largely nothing more than marketing hype or sales gimmicks. In all reality, it is next to impossible to tell what location an animal originated from. A more in depth discussion of this topic can be found on my Green Tree Python Locality Type Information page.

I am also currently trying to decide if I would rather work with high blue animals or the calico type coloration. I find both of these to be both beautiful and interesting versions of the green tree python and will surely obtain at least on of these two varieties of "designer chondros" to throw into the mix.
